Who I Am Makes a Difference
Please take this graphic and give it to someone you care about and tell them how they make a difference to your world. Also have them do the same thing...let's keep this going, because we all have someone who loves/cares about us. You never know how much a little encouragement may make in someone's life. I recently received an email and it had this story in it.....
"A teacher in New York decided to honor each of her seniors in high school by telling them the difference they each made. Using a process developed by Helice Bridges of Del Mar, California, she called each student to the front of the class, one at a time. First, she told them how the student made a difference to her and the class. Then she presented each one of them with a blue ribbon imprinted with white letters which read:
WHO I AM MAKES A DIFFERENCE.
She proceeded to give the students two extra ribbons each and asked them to do the same. One of the students did the same to his boss....who in turn went home to do the same to his son....when he told his son how special he is and how much he loved him, his son told him he had planned on committing suicide, but now he didn't have to...." WOW!! Just a few simple words of recognition and you could help someone's selfesteem so much they can continue to live....think about it...how long does it really take to tell someone you care about how much they make a difference in your life??? Not long.
So remember, I have given you a ribbon, because each and every one of you mean something special to me!! Please pass this on and place a link back to here so others can also receive a blue ribbon.
